Ok guys, bear with me, this is my first post ever. So scared . . .
I started knitting last december, because I wanted a POA scarf and they were sold out everywhere, and now I am a bit addicted. My friend just had a baby and though I vowed never to make anything in baby colors, and they didn't know the gender of the baby when I started, what I ( Read more... )

Gorgeous! Why couldn't I have had an Weasley baby blanket!?! But no... I had to be introduced to the world of HP in second grade! Gr...

LOVE IT SO MUCH! Post a pattern! Please!?! I would kill for a bigger version!

Thank you so much! The pattern was actually pretty simple, CO 135, seed stitch for 26R (about 4") for the border. Then seed for 18st (or 4"), stockinette for 99, and then seed for the final 18. Continue on with this until you are 9" from the border then begin the pattern for your letter. It may take some figuring to get it centered -- of course keeping the 18st seed border going. After the R is done, 9" of stockinette and the the 4" border for the other side. Of course it you want to make it bigger, none of that is going to help. lol. Feel free to ask me for further explanation, I have no idea if that would make any sense if you haven't already made it. (side note: I created the chart for the R by creating an excel spreadsheet for my gauge, and then grabbing the R from a pic of ron and harry, blowing it up in photoshop and then printing the R on it the spreadshhet to get the location. Of course it would probably be much easier to just use the one for the weasley sweaters. My yellow is all wrong, I just must have projected ( ... )

Haha... That happens to me every time I make up (and sometimes just do) intarsia. I look down at it and am like "Wait... No, that can't be right... WHAT!?!" But then I usually just live with it. Lol.
