They can lead to productiveness. Fell asleep around 7:30, woke up around 9. And well...

I was rather productive. See what I did... )

*still bowing*

Bloody brilliant! Due to your brilliance I picked up my crochet needle to give it a go again. It's no good, you are the queen and I'm a mere commoner.

Great work...thanks for giving us a look.

Thanks!

I would love, love, love it. I can't seem to appreciate just where to stick the hook and then end up with really, really crooked rows. Then get cranky. And then eat chocolate. Hmm. Wonder if can attribute weight issues with failure to crochet???

Shall be waiting with chocolate....

The level at which I am OBSESSED about crochet, is damn scary. Keep at the G blanket. I want to see it! :D

Thank you.

Ravenclaw bronze? secretsunsp0ken March 30 2006, 22:09:32 UTC
I realize this is a bit off-topic, but what bronze did you use for the Ravenclaw item in your icon? IRL, is it closer to brown or orange?

I'm still trying to find a bronze I like. =)

It was kinda the color of a burnt sienna out of the crayola box. I don't remember the brand off hand. I went to a special yarn shop for it. I will see if I can find the wrapper and get back to you on it.

I know the frustration of finding the right bronze...everything I liked was either the wrong weight or too...some other color.

Okay...I finally found the wrapper for the bronzey yarn

It's a brand called Reynolds Utopia. The color is Cognac.

Here is a link to the brand. If you click the colorcard 1, enlarge and almost all the way down you will see it. That's what I chose for my bronze. Not perfect, but good enough. :D

Simple...they're fake arms. J/K

Say, as the moderator, would you have a problem if I posted a small thing about how I do my crochet...not quite a tutorial...but in the same vein?

Yes, you should post WIP pics...then I won't feel so bad for posting all the time!

Okay... I will see if I can get mom to take some pics of my crochet as I am doing it.
