i know, right? it seriously freaked me out. i'm hoping there was either a) enough outcry for them to find a buyer, or b) someone like OTW will step in and make a version that's widely used.

re: delicious, yes. i am actually too lazy/lurkery/busy to have even signed up for my own delicious, but often use those of my flist as a jumping off point. i so rarely read anything without a rec of some sort first (unless, obvs, it's from a writer i know well), so delicious has been an amazing resource.

i have really found that the overall crowdsourcing of decent taste works well - i mean sometimes things slip through but a good number of recs (especially from someone i know) and a few great lines excerpted can make such a difference. i think it's made me read a lot more, but in a good way.

ok, but here's where delicious has made me a bad fan citizen - i probably didn't leave you comments on any of those stories, all of which i REALLY REALLY loved. you have quite a way with words and especially how you let your characters fight and struggle through how to use them ( ... )
