runpunkrun and I were egging each other on for WIP Amnesty Day, but I jumped the gun early on that this year and am pretty much out of half-finished fics. I did find the stash of Supernatural RPS that's been gathering dust, and one of them, it turns out, was pretty close to done. Where done=I wrote the first half at 2 a.m. like six months ago and left myself

AHAHA. Okay, thank you VERY MUCH then. They really are SUCH BOYS. I mean, I've written plenty of boys (and men) and boys being boys (and men being men) but even so this was an exercise in all the conversations they were NEVER going to have, and all the things they were probably not even going to THINK to themselves. So I'm glad it worked.

Oh yum! I loved this. To me, it seemed not too angsty, and just the right amount of confused-but-let's-go-for-it. They're so cute when they think they're being careful of each other! The ending was full of beautiful, too.

Yay, that's just what I was going for. I wasn't interested in angst because it was hard to buy them being that openly emotional. Plus once they got close enough to realize they might get to do it again, all angsty talky things were done for!
