Thanks! It was hard, but not so bad compared to the utter misery of the WA bar. Sooo glad I didn't stay in WA.

it seems like most of what's tested is what you learned in 1L, right?

Mostly, yes. I am glad I took First Amendment; wills, trusts, & estates; admin law; and fed courts. Wish I'd taken business organizations and Equal Protection. Of course for IL with Tax and whatnot you'd need other classes. But the MBE topics (multiple choice part of almost every state's bar) you do con law, criminal law and procedure, torts, contracts, evidence, and property. Evidence and crim pro mostly aren't 1L courses, but the rest are. It's the essay topics that vary among states and those will be your 2L/3L stuff.
