Holy crap, there are SIXTY summers at WSGR Palo Alto this year.

Last year there were thirty.

The question on all our minds: does this mean we're competing for offers?

That's a good point. It is, however, an exceptional case to have twice as many summers as you had the previous year, and a more exceptional case to be staring down the barrel of a major recession that has already resulted in lots of layoffs at other big firms, to the point where some are telling some of the summer associates they hired not to show up in May...
