Getting a tattoo in Dublin is a lot harder than you'd think -- tattoo shops there are far, far less frequent than here. If you're going to be in Dublin, Temple Bar is touristy but worth seeing, and contains Zulu Tattoo, where I went. Um. Say hi to the blue-haired girl for me. [blush]

When getting tattooed, it helps to know what you want ahead to time, and to discuss it with the staff there to make sure that it will turn out well. My first wish was unfeasible, and the staff there were great in helping me pick something that would work.
