and that's always been my issue with twitter...why would i want to update the same thing in multiple places? then everybody has to read stuff in multiples (because one would assume you are friends with the same people in all places).

my facebook hasn't changed to the new one yet, so we shall see. although i'm with you, in the grand scheme of things it's really not that important. it's amazing to me what people complain about (and i don't mean you, i mean in general). first with facebook privacy settings changing, and now the look (although i understand the bugs are annoying). we are humans, we are the most adaptable creatures on this planet, and we freak the fuck out when the side columns get rearranged.

it's a glitch and it happens to me too the past few days. I just refresh and it's all there. or I go to my messages or to my profile, then I go back to the home page and it's all there. I'm sure once they realize it's happening they will fix it. Everyone is freaking out so much about all these changes. It's only a website And in my opinion it's still the best social networking site out there. Myspace is crap, friendster never showed me it could handle it, and twitter is so limited. Suck it up, Doug ;-)

Yep, Facebook is terrible, except it's better than all of the other "social network" sites.

I've gotten that occasionally too. I think toggling over to the other tab (Top News, maybe?) helps.
