It is raining softly outside my office window right now. The sky is a blue-tinted grey and the rich greens of the trees across the quad keep covering themselves in shadow as the wind moves the branches in a meandering dance with no steps and no music.

It's quite peaceful to watch.

And outside my office window, the scene has changed dramatically while I've been contemplating your blog and its links. When I arrived the sky was black and starry...then, as the morning gray started to emerge and I set off on my dawn walk, a dense swirling fog came swooping in. Finally, an hour later when I was back from my walk and just starting to read my book (which seems to be partly focusing on how lousy the Boston winter can be), the fog suddenly lifted and the glimpse of sky I get from my office turned bright blue, and the building opposite was washed in yellow sunlight!
