It's so far beyond a "want" anymore

I know that Stipe pointed out that "what we want and what we need have been confused," and for the most part, I agree with him. But on one point, my want has become a need and then has flipped back to a combination of a wanton need. (see what I did there?) I'm beginning to worry that the 16 ounces of sweet, delicious coffee that I consume each ( Read more... )

So what you're saying is, you like coffee as a sweet little dessert drink.

It's okay, you just aren't hardcore yet. You will be. I cling to a sense of taste and buy Starbucks for our office so that I don't have to drink the Folgers or whatever shite someone drags in, or whatever they're serving in the cafeteria. But, in absence of that, I'll drink whatever is on tap because I'm AN ADDICT.

Your day will come. Enjoy being a coffee snob while it lasts.

In my office they make it weak and throw cinnamon in (I think to cover up how shitty it tastes). I think that the problem with coffee at work is usually not using enough grounds (besides the fact that it's usually folgers or something like that). Your work seems to have supplemental problems, though.

I bring my own in and have green tea to get me through the afternoon.

Doug likes girl coffee. Nothing sweet in there for me but the milk.
