It's almost too much to ask for, really. But here's what I'd like to see go down: The spin-meisters of the GOP will go into panic mode and "destroy Libby at all costs" mode which will only bite them in the ass, considering how far they went out of their way to characterize him as a great man hounded by Democrat no-gooders.
The mid-term elections will turn into a referendum on Bush himself, which Republicans will lose hand over fist.
With a freshly minted Democrat majority in Congress, the first order of business will be cleaning house. Impeachment, indicting Cheney and Rove, and a complete dissolution of the neoconservative movement.
And the Democrat candidate in 2008 will still lose to a Republican.

All of this is possible... but remember how much worse the Clinton impeachment was for House Republicans than it was for Clinton. Still, the scenario you describe is enitrely possible, even likely...
