I played D&D and I still don't understand armor class. Why is it better when it's lower? How can someone have a negative armor class? Crap.

They switched it in like, 1993 so that armor class increases for better score. So it finally makes sense.

I'll bet Rumsfeld missed that. He probably thinks we're using Predator-style electronic camouflage or something.
