This was lovely -- the flactuations in feelings of the past and present, both so real and intriguing. Gidget was adorable, as was the image of Brad and Ray scuffling in a diner, and relearning each other after so long apart, as friends first, then more.

*happy sigh*

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed.

I don't write anything but shameless porn or domestic schmoop if I hace a choice, so writing something like this where they do have to learn (and relearn) each other was almost impossilbe for me. I'm glad to know it worked though. :)

Wow, this was fucking amazing. What an excellent verse. I'd love to see what happens after this, do you have plans to write more?

Thank you so much and I'm glad you enjoyed!

I do have plans to write more in this 'verse eventually, I just have other things I promised I would do first. Because that's how life works, I guess. Sigh. But thank you!

I could die, I am so happy right now. I spend so much time worrying about the piece I'm writing that I forget someone like you is going to write me this gorgeousness. This was so spectacular that I'm not really sure where to begin or how to tell you how much I loved it.

Ray is complex and nuanced and damaged which is exactly how I love him the best. Gidget is the cutest dog the world has ever known and Walt may or may not be a kitten. I love that Brad sweeps in a sort of tries to take care of Ray but is really terrible at that feelings thing. Every bit of this is precise and perfect and I'm so grateful that it's all for me.

Their sexual tension was so hot I was a little afraid my computer would catch fire. When they finally actually touch each other it was so simultaneously sweet and raw and perfect and I don't even know what to do with it. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

asdfghjkl; I honestly don't have words for how relieved I was to see that you liked this. I might have cried. I don't know. karihermione spent the entire time I was writing this reassuring me I would be okay, but it's this - this - that makes me feel better. Because you're so awesome and I spent the entire time convinced I was just going to dissapoint.

I mean. I'm not a crazy fangirl who's totally intimidated by your awsomeness.

I don't even know how to start flailing at the loveliness of your comment. I love damanged boys so much and they're ridiculously uncommon considering what this fandom is for. I love dogs! And Walt totally is a kitten. Even if Walt would kill Ray for telling people that. Even though it is true.

And and and. I don't even know what I'm saying anymore. I'm rambly and ranty but your awesome and your comment totally made the stress of writing this sucker totally worth it. Thank you so much.

I really enjoyed this. A lot. The tension in their relationship throughout the whole thing was really well done. The build up is really wonderful and it makes the scenes where they kiss and fool around that much more tender and loving and hot.

I totally understand not wanting to spell out every little thing, but I can't help but feel the slightest bit disappointed that we don't get to find out more about what happened between them before this, and why Brad pushed Ray away other than feeling like he needed to. But maybe that's just me being greedy. :)

This was really lovely and a joy to read.

I absolutely love this! You obviously put a lot of effort into this, and it shows. The pacing is excellent, and I love all the little details that are included and the way the tension between them keeps building until something really has to give. There are hints to so much more story here that I'd love to see, but as it is, this is a brilliant piece of work, and I think you've done an excellent job! ♥
