...today we did the Christmas en famille thing in a pub in Richmond-on-Thames, which was jolly but would have been jollier if most of us, as per usual with these things, hadn't been laid lowish with the evil head cold and therefore coughing and sneezing over the festive board. He falls into that very small category of actors whose films I always want to see, regardless of subject matter.

Definitely. I've seen all of Jake's films except for Proof, but I intend on seeing that as soon as it's out on DVD (if it's not already). Doesn't matter what the movie is about, if Jake's in it, I'll see it.. because I know I'll always be impressed by his performance in it.
