moments after i told my housemate, lucas, that i wanted to start writing about moments and interactions in my life again: this gem fell from the sky.

i am standing on Haight, waiting for the 71. a man kind of stumble-strides up to the girls standing to my left, then asks them for a cigarette. this is not uncommon in the big city, so i barely notice ( Read more... )

Hi, Simon here. I just added you to the aspie_trans community, qnde then after reading this,I had to add you to my friends list. Your writing is amazing, I love it. Not sure what the 71 is, but from what I've seen of the USA I'm guessing it's some kind of train or bus? I live in a tiny country town in Australia, guess I miss conversations like this, as we have no public transport where I live.

hi! thanks for the add to the community. i was really excited when i found it.

and thank you, i don't write like this all the time. mostly, i just explode journal-like entries, as i'm sure you will see. occasionally, i will put in effort as i did with this post. as for the 71 -- it is, indeed, a bus here in san francisco, california. i think crazy stuff happens just happens in big cities, especially cities as wild as san francisco.

yeah. that answer would have worked, too. i just wanted the dude to get the fuck out of my personal space and stop talking to me. i don't do well with face to face conversations where people come on too strong, stand too close to me, or stare are me while they're talking. he was doing all three. i was not pleased.

1)The crazies are way too perceptive sometimes.

2)For kids, I get down on their level, and ask them what they think. Whichever they say, I just agree. I don't want to fuck up their heads. And usually they say whatever I feel most like that day.

3)I ignore adults...

4)I'm an ass.

5)You've been friended back.
