your awesome. my moms friend lives there so i'm lucky to go down there a couple times a year! ok before you leave, make sure to go to bottoms bay, which is on the south east coast, its one of the most beautiful things you will EVER see. if you want some night life, go to the south coast (christ church area) st. lawrence gap aka "the gap". usually things pick up around 10/11 pm. locals are great, and so is the music. just dont go anywhere by your self at night..duh =) to shop go to bridgetown, prob a half hour from where you are, good shopping but might be a little expensive! i must say that i got a pretty sweet prom dress for 80 BB and was 149$ american! oh, you can also go on the mount gay rum tour! its cool. oh and if you want some adventure, go on a catameran and swim with the turtles! and i know how it is about the rum, i dont really like it myself, but find myself drinking it anyways. hope i helped!, write back! ♥
Any advice on where to go in Bridgetown? We went a wanderin' one afternoon, but it's a big city and it's hard to really get a feel for it. ll the guides I have just tell me "go to the duty free shop!" and I kinda want something a bit more... real :) Just to get the necessities I didn't bring with me (like not enough shorts!! or clothes for going to a club)
theres a ton of little stores. hm the de costas mall is on broad street, theres a bunch of little stores in there, most of the clothes are upstairs though. oh and theres a cafe italia on the first floor, if you need a coffee fix =) then theres another huge store thing, of course i cant rememeber the name of it but they have a TON of clothes, shoes. i know what its looks like inside but not sure what its called :( oh, and have you discovered bean&bagel yet?
