Spock and Gaila as best, friends? Gaila and Nyota in cat fights? This is very different...and an extremely refreshing take. I find I can't wait to see what is going to happen next!!

ooh dear i cant decide which part amuses me more...Gaila declaring she & Spock are BFF so he is off-limit to Nyota...or Nyota itching to be in Spock's circle to the point of stalking him in the mess hall.

haha go Gaila! i like how Spock sympathizes with Gaila over humans not understanding their respective cultures. i hope Nyota will eventually see the error of her ways.

Hee! Gaila's so feisty: she's eager to fit in with the humans, but she doesn't let any slips trip her up. I'm curious to see how you resolve the catfight between Gaila and Nyota. And ooo, once they're better friends, I wonder if Gaila would start talking her roommate up to Spock?

Nyota stalking Spock... *giggles* Classic teacher crush, and a different take on how they got to know each other. I like it!
