What were they trying to do? Create sexy logic?

That would certainly be my plain, don't know about the rest of you!

I have a weakness for these two interacting in any capacity, and there just isn't enough fic of it anywhere. Plus, S/U. I'm looking forward to the next chapter. :)

Hehe. Thanks! I love Spock and I love Gaila so...it was just *logical*. Though I've read fic where Gaila is friendly with Spock, I haven't read anything in which they are actual friends so the gap had to be filled!

hahaha what a great start....i guess the command sort of got it right...2 aliens can relate to each other about how human everything is...but still putting 2 blind aliens to teach each other about earth & human as mentor-charge is not a good idea...maybe as buddy-buddy. really cant wait to have these 2 to meet Nyota...they definitely need a translator...and whats better than a communication major to guide them.

yup...but if you put those 2 indians together in ...say a college dorm room in the US, i bet these 2 can sympathize with each other & complain about the crazy Americans, although probably they wont understand why the other one prefer rice instead of naan or whatever other quirks they have.

I love how this started a discussion! Personally, I think it would depend on the Indians or the aliens. The way I premised this is - Command screwed up big time, they are ailens on the opposite ends of the spectrum and Spock isn't someone who can properly guide *anyone* through human behavior. However, if they have the proper personalities, they can bond over their common differences; if they don't - think Klingons and Vulcans or two fundamentalists on clearly opposite sides - *explosion*, so in essence, I agree with both views. Let's just see how it works out for these two... :)
