That was both great and evil!

I wish I could say I'd rather you had simply left the Harry-Ginny conversation out of it and given us a Draco-Ginny confrontation but, really, this was just so essential.

"C’mon, Gin, I know none of us were particularly keen about Slytherins when we were in school but give Malfoy some credit. I would say he loves her.” This was the most painful thing to read, hands down. It really forces you to admit that Draco has moved on and Ginny is stuck forever. Beautifully done.

I noticed there was mention of an accompaniment? May we perhaps get to see into Draco's mind as well? :D

Thanks! :)

There will be an accompaniment and while I think the story can stand alone without it, I don't think it's truly complete without this last addition. You'll have to see...though I apologize it may be a while before I can sit down and write it.

Omg - I don't know if I should interpret that as no time to respond or you really didn't like it.

Busy... busy... busy. To make myself perfectly clear, I liked it in a "put a freaking stake to my heart, cut it out, throw it in a blender and serve it up for tea" kind of way. *g*

Accompaniment? What accompaniment?

The one that will give you some back story but not THE back story. It's all there in the back of my head. COMING SUMMER 2008. *headdesk*

What didn't you like about him carrying her? The way he did it or that he did it all? Also to be explained in SUMMER 2008.

BA, you evil tease! You want us to beg for the backstory, don't you? *g* I like the irony of Ginny and Harry being trapped in this weird, communication-less marriage while Draco's marriage is so obviously happy. This has something to do with his relationship with Ginny, doesn't it? Ah, I wish we'd get an explanation, but I know how busy you are. Here's hoping for a soon-ish break! :)

I'm not actually trying to be a tease - I write what I can write and I just don't have enough time to get into any of it. It's not like I'm exactly holding out waiting for your review before I write more!

Re: Harry - I think of him as satisfied, not happily oblivious, but as a man who has become used to absorbing disappointments and thinking that this is part of his life. I think he loves Ginny and his kids but he's not over the moon in love, things aren't perfect (James not into Quidditch!) but he realizes "no marriage is perfect anyway." Furthermore, he's never been overtalkative. And it's in conformity with canon, yes? There's never much between H&G. Hehe..

Does Draco's happiness have anything to do with his past with Ginny? Or is it all Astoria?? Haha, just teasing!

My D/G loving heart is breaking! Excellent story! I can't wait for the accompaniment. *shakes head* I adored Astoria when I was fully prepared to hate her, on principle alone.

So many questions...Is Draco's relationship with Astoria a result of something between himself and Ginny? Why does Ginny stay if she is so unhappy? Does she stay because she feels she has to? Does Draco, who obviously shared all with Astoria, have regrets?

Haha, another great icon!

Would I be breaking writing rules by answering these questions? The accompaniment is now up. I'm not sure if it answers your questions - actually it may raise even more questions! But I may answer the ones I know for sure I will never address in fic.

Nope, I can't think of one writing rule you'd be breaking. ;) I'm off to read the accompaniment (and likely ask more questions, he he).

(LOL, I like to amuse myself with the icons so it's fun to see when someone else likes them as well.)
