While reading over old posts last week, I came across one here, from 2011: "Internet homeless." bemoaning the protracted exodus from the site and my dissatisfaction with the available social networks (specifically Facebook, Twitter and Google+).

The recent acquisition of Twitter and the uncertainty surrounding it does not represent quite the same
