Help me find a mesh?

Okay. So, I assume we are familiar with those ridiculous (in a good way!) frilly bloody tutu things Pooklet just made. I took one look at them and went 'cute, but soooo impractical'. They're just too over the top for me. So what I decided to do was yoink the tops off and put them on a different mesh. Couldn't find a top only mesh so decided to do a ( Read more... )

Would this mesh suffice? I'm not sure where the original mesh comes from but it's included in that post.

Aha! I passed over that one before, but I looked around Liana's site and I see a couple more that may be worth a try.

Knee high converse? Well if you really wanted seperates, Adele has this skirt mesh with boots. But they are flat boots so they should retexture well as a Converse. She had also done a corset top before, and it looks like she may have just used a base game mesh for it. But some of her top meshes might work too.

Skirt looks good! As for the tops..I think it's because the mesh Pooklet used actually has some definition around the top area, that when I tried a base game mesh and/or the untuckable tees mesh, the lace area looked muddy and flat. However, this was in BS so I'll go look in game. Might just have to change the alpha so it's more defined to get that look back.

Took me a while to remember it, but did you look at the AL corset as seperate mesh already? I'm not sure if I have any more single corsets but can double check next time body shop is up.

I love boots, and those are my favorites! Do you have these for download anywhere?

Nope, but since it's easy to do (I was just testing it out with one texture and got it worked out) I can paste the rest of the textures on and do them at the same time :)

I ended up using those boots anyway :p Was having so much trouble (no other top mesh works - the ballerina mesh has a very nipped in waist and pushed up bust, so the textures don't look good on normal meshes) I alpaha'd the tutu off the original mesh, and added those boots and skinny jeans.

I'll post them soonish (one colour down, 15 to go :p)
