You knew that whore George Lucas would do this... Coming in September... You can get 2-disc versions of the original trilogy. One disc the 2004 'remaster' and the second the original theatrical release. The kicker, it will be a limited edition only available until December 31. news article, star wars

If they release the films individually, I might buy Episode IV. That one had the most changes in it that annoyed me. I don't know about buying yet another boxed-set.

Well, it's not a boxed set... You buy each of the films individually. Each one will be a 2-disc set.

he had to wait the proper amount of time to make sure everyone had finally bought the updated box set to release this one and then force them to rush get this one. brilliant!
