Would you even think to ask this many personal and prodding questions of a white American poetry editor? When only one (at most) is about poetry?
Perhaps you don't mean to come across as agressive and offputting, but some of these leave me wondering if the next question is "can I pet your hair", they're so dehumanizing.
Bearleyport, I do not know you from Adam, but I am frankly surprised that you would assume I would be your token ex-Soviet to interview right here on WC Roberts' blog. We had been discussing my zine and poetry in general, and my mention of FSU was limited to "I was born in the former Soviet Union." So why then, didn't you ask, Rose, I'd like to know more about your background, is that okay?
Where do you leap from "wanting to know about her background" to asking about her feelings on death?
Not okay, dude. Never okay.

Andy, you demonstrated with those questions that you have no respect for Rose either as an editor or a person.
And now, I'd say, you get to reap what you've sown.

Could you be any more disingenuous?
