CALL: Halloween Slam for Library Kids

All,

On Monday, October 27 @ 6:00 at the Parsons Library the Writers' Block Poetry Night will be sponsoring a Halloween Slam!

This event is all ages and free, with a focus on work aimed at kids.
Costumes are mandatory and your poetry should reflect your character in some way.

A general question (which may help any reading this and considering slaming).

Do participants have to slam with only original material or may they use other works that are character/costume appropriate?

It can be either or both!
I'm happy to help dig out some poetry that would work if I know what someone wants to be. I am the bomb librarian, after all!
