I signed up to teach the preschool class at church on Sunday (and, unlike last week, I actually went. Last week I was supposed to "assist" and get comfortable with the class, but that wasn't enough motivation to get out of bed on time. The name of the "rally to restore sanity" terrifies me, since it sounds tea-party-like to me. But since you were considering going, I'm assuming it meant rally to restore sanity from the tea party idiots?

Yes, it's basically a reaction to the Glenn Beck rally and the tea party. I've also heard it referred to as the Coffee Party. It's hosted by Jon Stewart. Stephen Colbert, who does a parody of an arch-conservative, was also supposed to host a counter-rally: Keep the Fear Alive - but they've been combined. I'm not a big Colbert fan, but I adore Jon Stewart.

Sorry you had to cancel the Rally plans. I saw Stephan Colbert on something recently and thought he was pretty good. Of course, I can't get either of these guys on the regular gigs.
