Anyone know how to get rid of pop-up viruses on a computer? I've got this thing firewalled to the gills, I scan at least once a week, I've got my pop-up blocker on full blast, and I'm still getting these things. It's very irritating when I am in the middle of typing a post, and I suddenly get a pop-up. I'm half tempted to email some of these

Ugh, ditto on the effing annoying pop ups. I still get that sodding "we will scan your comp for you, and although we're not telling you this, we will also totally install lots of crap on it to our advantage and yours not so much. Aren't you happy???" pop up. It appears to almost everywhere, and it sneaks under every scan I have and run. Sodding stupid thing!

They can pop those products up somewhere else entirely!

I'm with you there. I love the way some of them say "we've scanned your computer and have found X number of illegal files" and it's always the same number.
