Hi there! I'm a brand new player and just finished setting everything up after the acceptance of my application. Unfortunately, I will be leaving tomorrow to a week long camping trip and will have zero access to le internet. Would it be okay to delay my introduction to hometrail until the 9th? sdfsdhb.

We'll need to discuss your friend's situation, but I can give you an answer to your question now. Our application cycle closes this Saturday, so no one else would be able to join in a week. We do this for the exact reasons you've asked about; so everyone is in the same place at the same time, making it fairly easy for everyone to interact quickly. From the way the game was designed, it doesn't make sense for characters to suddenly appear on the caravan, so during application cycles, the caravan stops in villages or important places to pick up all of the new applicants. Granted, the new characters might be in a unique situation for a few days-- for example, last app round, all of the new characters found themselves in a castle dungeon, and the caravan characters went looking for them. This round, new characters are lost in a forest, while caravan characters wait in an abandoned village nearby and form search parties ( ... )

Don't worry, there's no penalty. You'd be able to reserve and apply in future rounds without a problem.

NO NEVER. :) They are open for the first week of the month, every month!
