For some reason more than any of the angels I feel like Uriel must have changed over time the most. *shrugs * No idea why. Thanks so much for reading. <3

Hm, really? I guess I can maybe see that, though I see him as being less flexible and impressionable than, for instance, Cas and Anna. It just seems to me like he would have been a staunch traditionalist until then he wasn't anymore. I don't see him going through a huge arc of changing and growing, though who knows.

In my head canon all the angels started out as one thing and ended up being something else. For some it was physical, like for Anna. For other’s it was more a shift in perspective, with Cas for example. I tend to think Uriel would correlate more closely to Castiel in that he seemed to have a mind of his own, even if his tendencies were darker than Cas’ were at this point of the series. I feel like eons would have taken their toll on him and that would have led to great change.
