Things working at Jam Pony didn't really get all that exciting. It was mostly take package, ride bike, deliver package, ride bike again. Simple, straight forward work that gave her a pay check and something to do during the day and yeah, it was boring, but it was better than sitting around Mickey's place all day watching TV

Jinx sniffed at her hand and then licked it. It was greeting more than inspection. He knew Gloria, she'd look after Alec. He just didn't want strangers or people who didn't know to be careful with his master to close.

Alec laughed, and it sounded on the edge of being histerical. "Interesting."

Gloria gave him a friendly scratch behind the ears, and raised an eyebrow back at Alec. "Interesting? I tell you you look like Hell, and you tell me that that's 'interesting'?"

She shook her head slightly, before moving closer to him and sliding an arm around his shoulders for a hug. He could talk and hug at the same time, and God knows he looked like he could use it.

He collapsed into her, arms coming up enough to wrap around her waist. "Did you know Heaven has waiting rooms?" Because that made sense. He looked rumpled and needed a shave. At least as much as any X5 ever really did. He was clearly lacking in sleep and food.

"No, I didn't," she said softly, rubbing his back lightly as she held him close. "But I can't say I ever really thought about it."

She was okay with things not making much sense. He looked exhausted, and right now, her main concern was getting him back somewhere with a decent bed and seeing if she get him to get at least six hours. With, of course, a pit stop for food in between.

"Hungry? Cuz I haven't had lunch yet."
