There's a knock on the doorjamb--Charles himself is leaning a shoulder against it, still in the turtleneck and trousers from earlier, holding a slim electronic datebook. He has Urquhart's name--and now knows he can afford an appointment--but not much else about him.
"Grudges," Teja says. "And trades to take effect in your world, not here. I am a smith by trade, and work in the forge, making blades and jewellery. Such business is allowed."
