It's only a week.
He doesn't expect Random will visit for various reasons, and there are very few people he'd actually like to see.
Not that he has a choice in the matter. He has been sitting quietly since last night, not moving too much at all and not planning on moving despite the food that has been provided for him. The lack of movement is almost eerie.
