One Last Prank

In the beginning, there were the cells.

And from there, they spread, and gained sentience, and cause Bernard to wonder why Tim would name them after him.

But tonight, an extra cell is added.

It begins with a wheelchair, in the middle of an empty cell. An old fashioned wheel chair, two big wheels, metal seat and back, two little wheels under the foot rest. A simple enough thing.

And then clouds begin to gather, dark and portentious, swirling within the confines of this little cell. Thunder rumbles, lightning flashes, and the clouds let loose a torrent of rain. Driving, gale force rain, thundering down, filling the floor of the cell with water, which gathers, raises, the water level driving higher and higher, until it fills a good Half the cell.

The water stops, suddenly, as if being turned off at a switch. The wheelchair is still there, under the water, visible through the clear sides of the cell.

Churning, bubbling, the water parts as land rises up from below, two land masses, crossing at only one junction, but extending from one corner of the cell to the other, diagonally. If one were to get just the right view of these lands masses, from above, one might notice they are shaped like sais. Then again, one might not.

The land masses are like tiny islands, with a tiny row of mountains on one, and a small forest one the other. But both have beaches.

And it is onto these beaches that life begins, four legged, green, with a stripe of red around the head at the eyes.

Dozens of turtles, crawling upon the land, diving in the water, and generally enjoying life.

And everyone one of them bears a striking resembalance to Raph.

Last word.
