Garion is in one of the beds in the infirmary where he's been since he came in yesterday. He's been asleep for most of it; his consciouness had been an effort of pure will kept up only in an attempt to lessen what worry his friends might have for him. This morning, however, his eyes did open (though it was something of an effort) and while he ( Read more... )

"Hi, Garion." Suzi comes bearing...things. Mostly brightly (nay, incandescently) colored things. Of the soft and fluffy kind, "Why aren't you sleeping?"

I can't sleep.

His jaw is still out of sorts and sore, so he's speaking like this if only to save himself some pain.

She spreads the soft blanket of neon shades of yellow and green over the top of the infirmary issue one. "Well, I can at least help there." Is the cheerful response, and she smiles at him while balancing the fields.

It isn't that he doesn't still hurt, it's just that he can't feel himself hurting anymore. "And I brought a book, so if you feel like sleeping you can do so without me getting bored. I'm also projecting Hard Need at you, which won't fix you as fast as if you were Gen, but will help you heal faster than normal."

Thank you.

He's not about to use his jaw again. She didn't fix it; she just took the pain away. It probably isn't a good idea to try and talk with it like that anyway; the purpose of pain is to warm you that something is damaged and shouldn't be moved like that often enough.

For everything. I'm sure I'd be in much worse shape if you and Belar hadn't helped.

Obi-Wan sensed the disturbance in the Force when they brought the young man in yesterday. He also sensed... pure Dark Side, on such a scale as he's never been up close and personal with.

Now that things have quieted down a bit, he's decided to pay a call on the young man... and winces on catching sight of him. "What in the Force happened to you?" he breathes.

Demons. And madmen. And mad demons.

That about sums it up.

Hello.

"Hello... Garion." He reads the name off the nearby chart. "I just realised, I never learnt your name in any of our previous meetings. In case you've forgotten, I'm Obi-Wan Kenobi."

We did always seem to skip it, he admits. And I apologize about this, but my jaw is in no shape to be talking. Good to see you, Obi-Wan.

"Did you get what you went in for?" Because as bad as Garion's injuries are, the question is whether they bought him what he needed or not.

I got quite more information than we had. Enough to calm some fears, start up new ones, and to get plans made.

He nods carefully at Makita.

Thanks for coming by.

She nods, "Then you made the right choice." She's no stranger to taking risks to get vital information.

She sits in a nearby chair, "I'm glad you're doing okay. Or at least relatively so." Makita tilts her head, "You are doing okay, right?"

Other than all the pain, yes. I'm healing.

He doesn't shrug, because it would hurt, but he does give something that almost looks like a closed-mouth smile.

And I'm pretty sure if it had been anyone other than me, that someone would have died. So I think so too.
