Flame-san, my apologies for taking so long to get in touch with you - is there any particular evening next week that would work best for you?

[Bellflower enjoyed her job, but she was glad to see the end of her shift today. Once she had gathered her own things - including the extra package wrapped neatly in her bag - she went off in search of Stellaris]

[Stellaris was just finishing up and was now folding her labcoat in the staff room. Noticing Bellflower's arrival, she called the other woman.]

Miss Bellflower.

[Bellflower gave her a warm smile in return]

Almost finished?

I'm done for the day, actually. Shall we go?

[With the understanding that this auction 'date' was a friendly social outing, she was in no way dressed to the nines, but the slacks and pale pink chiffon blouse ensemble she had changed into was still a tad fancier than her usual style. So was the barrette holding her hair up.]

Certainly. We can use the back door, it's closer to the Spa.

After you, then. You know, I've never been to the Spa before. So when you suggested going there, it perplexed me a little.

[Her smile is slightly apologetic, but the light tone of her voice and the soft laugh that trailed conveyed that it wasn't meant as a slight.]

[Bellflower gives her a quick, warm smile in reply]

You will understand better after we visit, I think. You always seem so busy - you should spend some time for relaxation, too.

Well... denying would be a lie, I guess. There's always much to do and learn, especially here in the Clinic. So many people have various and fascinating medical skills. I do find my hobbies relaxing, though.

Good you have that much, then. But finding true peace, in the absence of activity, can be it's own reward.

The Spa can bring someone true peace?

It...can assist. It is a conducive environment to calming one's mind, making it easier to let go of worries we can do little about.

[Let go of worries we can do little about. If there was one wisdom she tried to practice but failed each time, that was it.]

Coming from someone with your serenity, that reasoning is quite compelling.

[Bellflower smiled, and bowed her head slightly in acknowledgement of the compliment. They had reached the back door to the Clinic, and Bellflower pushed it open, revealing the spa only a short distance a way.]

Here we are.

[Stellaris opened the door and walked in, then held the door for Bellflower.]

Thank you.

[Bellflower had made reservations ahead of time for the two of them, so she simply went to speak to the receptionist to check both of them in.]

[Once the door was closed, Stellaris began to notice a mild but distinct scent in the anteroom. Coupled with the soft cast of copious candlelight, it made the ambience much different than anywhere she'd been to in Edensphere.

A little while after, another employee appeared from inside, politely greeting and gesturing for them to follow.]
