[ Tuesday evening, Flame left the apartment and headed for the residence that Bellflower had indicated. She had a pack slung over her shoulder, with a few various weapons tucked in it, since Bellflower had indicated an interest in her profession. She could talk about weapons for hours, but it wasn't often that a stranger would express much interest.
As for anything else, they might talk about, Flame had no idea. But Bellflower seemed like a friendly lady, and Flame was always happy to meet new people. The Sphere might have some strange denizens, but beyond the rude person who'd greeted her at hatching, she'd never found anyone to really dislike. She was sure this would be the same.
And so she was smiling when she knocked at Bellflower's door. ]
[At the sound of the knock, Bellflower rose from her seat in the main room of he apartment, where she'd been waiting, and went to answer it. She had dressed nicely, but simply - long black skirt and a nice blouse. Dinner was ready and waiting in the kitchen.
She gave the young woman outside a smile when she opened the door.]
[ Fortunately, Flame doesn't notice. She hasn't known Bellflower for long enough to realize if she hides things emotionally. So she waits for her to return with their meal. ]
Have you been in Edensphere a long time, Bellflower?
[Bellflower sets down a tray in front of both of them - bowls of rice, bowls of miso, chicken teriyaki, and cups of tea for both of them. There's also a small plate of sashimi, and some empty dishes for soy sauce, though she's come to realize not everyone here shares her taste for raw fish]
Longer than some, shorter than others. Six months now, more or less.
[ Flame surveys the food with interest, although a touch of uncertainty. She's never eaten like this before. Well, rice, soup, yes, but now she's pretty sure she's not from whatever culture Bellflower calls her own. Which isn't a bad thing. It's always nice to try something new. ]
That's not much longer than I have. What do you do, if you don't mind me asking?
[Bellflower takes a few pieces of the terikayki with her chopsticks, and places them on top of the bowl of rice. Yes, she's forgotten that not everybody can use chopsticks >_>]
I work at the clinic, on Wellspring, as one of the junior medics.

[ She smiled. ] You look nice. And -- you made dinner and everything?
[ She blushed just a little, clearly pleased by her reception. ]

Thank you - and yes, I did. It seemed like an appropriate offering to a potential new friend.

That's very kind of you. I would have brought something to contribute if I'd thought about it.

Thank you - though it would not have been necessary. Your presence is enough contribution.

Besides, it was for a good cause.
