Once upon a time, there was a Congressman.
No strike that.
Once upon a time, there was a Senator. He was special, and knew others who were special. But he hid his nature, felt it best for safety reasons. The only way to get by in society. And some of the specials... they were bad. Some were downright evil, and needed to be controlled. So the Senator had a plan. (Rachel's eyes looking accusing at him.) Control them. For their sake. For the normals sake. Only way to protect.
It was the best of intentions. So of course, it was a huge failure.
And then his secret got out. Found out by the one man he didn't want to learn of his nature.
Now the Senator was the hunted one. And there was only so much sky to escape in.
