Bah! Screw uck LJ cuts, it's your journal! Do whatever you want XO

As for the books you specifically want to read, I would reccomend Stranger in a Strange Land! It's a classic Sci Fi novel. I don't think it's particularly well written but it's really good for plot and content! A bit sexual, just as a caveat >.o If you end up reading it and liking it, I suggest Ray Bradbury's short stories (not his novel though)... one of the best plot writers of all times in my opinion =D

Af for the others... I read Mein Kampf and Das Kapital. Mein Kampf is interesting because of its perspective, but I found it kinda fierce o_o. Das Kapital was really thick to go through, and I don't think I understood it very much o_o

I personally did not like 1984 very much, although it is a classic post-apocalyptic novel for its time. I've jsut read so many books similar to it before it that it kinda felt redunant. On that note, I felt the same way about Brave New World, although I think. iked BNW slightly better =3

Yes, Stranger in a Strange Land has been reccomended by lotsa folks :) and yes, Ray is great. I would expect Mein Kampf to be intense if it reflects anything of the author's personality - this is why I am so intrigued by it. Books are great things when fictional, but throw in the aspect of being able to experience firsthand the thoughts and impressions of another human, and you've got a real treasure...
