There is NO JOY in telling your 11 year old daughter that her favorite band has broken up. None.

I am totally sad and I don't want to be. Dammit, they are just a band, and they are not dead, they even SAY they are still friends, so who knows, they might do surprise guest things on each other's records and at each other's shows, and they might even still twitter about doing stuff together as friends... Brendon and Spencer could take Jon & Ryan's new band on tour! There could be fic about them MISSING each other? Plus! Without Brendon there being amazing, Ryan and Jon's voices will get to shine... and maybe without Ryan & Jon there, Brendon will get Spencer to sing!

Man, they are really cute! Especially the GIRLS! How is mothering an 11 year old girl, in general? I need some perspective.
