I've come to think that the fact that Ohno is their designated Leader is a HUGE part of why they work. He steps back and let's them have center stage, really only coming forward when and where he's desperately needed.

It's a perfect recipe and you've captured that so brilliantly here. Especially with the 3rd section. That would be one of the hardest conversations to have and Ohno addressed it... like Ohno.

Yes, Ohno's leadership style is just so odd and Arashi-like and he's really hard to figure out. He's spacey and quiet, but he does take care of things in his own way, often by just being there and doing what he does - even if he doesn't act like a 'real' Leader.
