I love the different viewpoints here and how they show how things can appear so differently to different people, and you really need to communicate and make sure your mind maps match.

I love the characterization here-- very rich, and it feels utterly complete.

Interesting take on the prompt-- because there IS such a thing as being too pampered, and sometimes the overly doting person starts to feel resentful.

Off to read the other piece and see if that's the case!

Awesome intersection! I am curious how you guys collaborated. Did one of you start off and then the other went from there or... ? Just curious from a writer's standpoint. Often times if one starts before the other it is obvious who went first, but with you guys, not so much. Well done!

I just went camping with my parents (74 and 69) last weekend and OMFG. This is a total snapshot of their life.
