From the Edge of the Preserve to Glory
All was quiet as was usual on a warm day like this. But then Robin got the call from Billy.
A few Madri were patrolling the borders of the forest when an odd sound reached them. A buzzing sound that seemed to be...
"Do you hear Ride of the Valkyries?" one asked his companions.
Then from out of the trees came the source of the sound. The vanguard of the animals Robin had managed to rally to the cause.
"BEEEEEESS!!" The border guards were quickly swarmed. After the stinging insects came mosquitos, birds, frogs and toads. Robin had kind of been hoping ride into battle on the back of a deer, but they weren't having any part of this.
So instead he leaped out of a tree onto the shoulders of one of the Madri, and covered his eyes.
"Guess who!"
