Oh, this was so beautiful. That scene when the Deans blame each other for what happened to Sam, god... I'm so upset right now. :( And the way Dean/Dean happens is so natural and organic (not to mention hot!).

I want to hold that fic and tell it it's all going to be okay

I'm so very happy you liked it, hunny. Honestly without your End verse fics, I probably would never have wrote this. Besides all the h/c, what I appealed to me about the prompt was the opportunity to explore Dean as a leader, which was definitely inspired by the lovely exhausted!future!Dean fic you wrote me.

OMG that was just beautiful, in a gritty painful and longing kind of way.

The ultimate narcissistic personality in the end! But hell who go blame him, like anyone could resist Dean all hurt and betrayed, not even Dean I say!

Your story is powerful and evocative, gripping, tense, and tautly written. You establish atmosphere and mood at once and maintain it flawlessly and with just the right balance of detail and omission. The characterizations are heart-breaking and fully realized, dead-on and entirely in-character, answering some ultimate what-ifs without once resorting to typing. This is exceptionally thorough and thoroughly exceptional. Bravo!
