German Easter Wells

 If you share my love of folk traditions, then you'll love this post by Selenak.  Many people are familiar with Russian decorated eggs, and I showed you Czech ones the other day, but the German painted egg tradition is different again.

Yes, this is typically German! They are very organised and the decoration is beautiful. We don´t have this style. Everyone either buys commercial decorations or (which I absolutely prefer) use their own creations. I have no particular decoration at home but I baked again and I will post some pictures later. Because I must wait for Monday when children will come with their "wassailing" - I want to take some pictures!

Here, it's all chocolate eggs, but I have painted Czech eggs this year with Oswin and hope to make it an annual tradition.
