We had company over which was lovely. My friends had a nice lunch in my garden while the CCS social worker did her session with Little T inside. She showed me why Little T will pull up in certain places, but not others. It made perfect sense when she explained it, but I'd have to think about on my own. I don't think very well spatially

This isn't about why fall may make you more prone to sprains, but here are two "alternative" things you can do for a sprained ankle to help it heal faster:
1) Rub it daily with arnica gel, which you can get at "natural" food stores. It's a homeopathic remedy for trauma.
2) A chinese trick: There's usually one main spot on the ankle that's more damaged than the rest. Find that spot, then rub it *on the opposite (unsprained) ankle*. Massage it really deeply, and *very gently* rotate the injured ankle at the same time. Just a little movement, not enough to hurt, is fine. This technique helps move the qi in the ankle. The swelling and stiffness is essentially conjested qi & blood.
You could also go to an herbalist who could give you something to soak the ankle in that would help with the healing. I did that the second time I busted my knee and was amazed at the rate it healed.
