Mori still sick, C getting bettter

Mori caught the upper respiratory disease --he's sneezy and has weepy eyes. He's also moving very slowly and sleeping a lot. Fortunately he still seems to be eating and drinking. I called the vet and the tech said as long as he's eating and drinking, he should be okay ( Read more... )

Poor Mori. Hopefully it will pass quickly.

And I'm glad C- is getting better. Pneumonia is tough to get over. He might want to get a flu shot after he's completely healed, as he may be more susceptible now to getting a bronchial flu.

From what the vet has said, and also from experience, cats seem to have "upper respiratory virus" hanging around longer than humans. Like a week and a half to two weeks in some cases. Don't take my word for it, but also don't panic :) Thankfully it seems to not travel from cat to cat as easily as the cold travels between people.
