Soul-crushing dilemma

So, as you may recall, I have a ticket + photo op for the SPN Dallas con in September. But like... I'm having a hard time getting excited about it for several reasons, the main ones being that I feel cripplingly guilty about the money and that I really don't have anyone to hang out with at the con (nor do I have a place to sleep other than home).

I went to the LA con by myself the first year I was in law school. I talked to people in line and while sitting down before panels started. I ended up meeting someone the first day that I hung out with at the con the other days. I could have spent that money (I had GA but bought autograph tickets), or rather saved it, for more important things too.

But your situation is different in that you are stressing out over it. I don't let myself stress out over spending money on doing fan things because those fan things make me happy and are therefore really important too.

If you don't think you could have fun at the con, it might be best to sell the ticket. Otherwise you'll have spent money and your memories won't be good ones.

*sigh* I would love to go to Dallas and take a pic with J2! Any chance it costs negative money and comes with built in time off from work? :P
