The Classic Canonverse J2 Comment Meme!
THE CLASSIC CANONVERSE J2 COMMENT MEME!
(Alliteration kicks ass, y'all.)
ALL RIGHT! So, okay, tonight I stumbled across a non-AU J2 fic, and I thought, as I have thought before, how HAPPY it makes me that people are still telling those stories. Remember, guys? Remember that famous first meeting and sneaking around on set and trailer hookups and cohabitation(!!!) and Paley and dogs and Sandy and bar fights and Chad and that set picture of sheer, absolute love? Remember pink shirts and drunkenly hanging off each other at WB/CW events and Mike Rosenbaum and their first Creation con and the writers' strike and Jared's broken arm and shy!Jensen and Texas and how we were half-convinced that the boys were going to marry each other because they practically already were? (Not that they are not still joined at the hip! I'm just saying.)
ANYWAY. So I put it to a vote on Twitter, and after a wholly unscientific unanimous YES, we now have this. YAY!
Prompt whatever the hell you want, just make it non-AU and Jared/Jensen. There can be other pairings, previous pairings, whatever. In this case, non-AU does NOT mean the boys can't run off into the sunset together! The stuff I rambled about above is kind of some of the high points of what I remember from the "classic" era of CW RPF, and I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE prompts about those things and other things that I forgot, but what I really want out of this meme is just for people to write more stories about the boys being together in this world where they're just two actors, working together on this crazy CW show about brothers who shoot monsters. Because, really, can there ever be enough?
I really do love the girls, guys. And if anyone wants to write me some classic era Sandy/Danneel, I would be ALL OVER that.
