Oh, and here's some food for thought, while I'm on the subject of writing. Do you guys notice that you tend to have the same themes and ideas running through your various works, or is every story a completely new adventure, or some of both ( Read more... )

I definitely use the same phrasings and speech patterns, especially with certain characters that I'm *so used* to writing. But I also think I'm one of those people who tends to write about the same things over and over again: family, fear, love, faith, doubt, myth, religion. You know, the little stuff. *Grins*

I DO NOTICE! I'm not quite sure exactly what my themes are, but I do get a vauge feeling of deja vu whenever I write fic, so much that I'm worried I'm writing the same fic with different characters. I tend to notice that for a lot of my rarepairs (Bela/Henriksen, Ruby/Anna, Bela/Anna, Jo/Bela), there tends to be no happy endings. And I like flashbacks. And roadtrips, like even in my original fic, there are roadtrip stories, not just in SPN fic. IDK, I'm sure there are other stuff, but I'm not observant enough to notice my own themes. It would be awesome if someone could psychoanalyze my fic and tell me XD

Also, YAY NEIL <3
