Stumbled upon your entry by way of the SPN newsletter, and I'm in full agreement about what you say re: the lack of the female voice in SPN slash fic and the tendency to dislike and/or downplay female characters from the very start in slash fandoms in general. I would dearly love to read more SPN fic told from the pov of female characters!
