I know this has been going around for a couple of days, but I was waiting for official word from the network:

Supernatural renewed for season 3! \o/

And Veronica Mars is cancelled, dammit. :\ And we're still in the Thursday spot up against Grey's and CSI and now The Office, wtf scheduling? But we are ON for next season, and that is all that ( Read more... )

omg....i still can't breathe

I've been refreshing and refreshing....and then there it was and I just about passed out. I didn't realize I was so scared until I actually saw it!

*clings* I know, I've been a nervous wreck all morning waiting for something to get posted. And then it WAS, and it's not like I was even all that nervous about our fate, but it feels SO GOOD to finally get confirmation and know we'll get our boys another year. :D

I do sort of wish we weren't still facing so much heavyweight competition on Thursday, but I'd much rather have that than the Sunday night slot that was rumored, and it's nice to see the CW has faith in us to keep holding our own next season, I guess? WHO KNOWS.

I had faith that we'd get a new season. I mean, I was 98% sure but you never know with these network people ya know?! So, I dunno. I was just SO relieved!

Now, when are you going to write the fic where the boys find out that they are getting a new season? *pokes you* LOL!

The Thursday night thing - I know. I thought they might move it. But I think they might be really attached to their Smallville/Supernatural pairing and weren't prepared to move both. ? Who knows - exactly!

I'm just so happy we can finally rest easy! It seems like we've been waiting forever to hear!

Eeee, maybe! I hear that neither of them turned up for the upfronts, which means Jensen's whereabouts are conspicuously unaccounted for. Not that I would turn that into slash or anything, especially not slash in which Jensen ditches the event to go be with Jared on his movie set. *shifty*

my expectations for season three are frighteningly high. i just. season three. this is a big deal.

Exactly, and considering how much they raised the bar this year? I fully expect that next season will be AMAZING.

OMGYAY! I was waiting for official upfront news before I celebrated, as well. Thank goodness, right? What wonderful news! Now for me to just stay calm as we wait for the new pictures to come in . . .

YAY for renewal! Dude, just the thought of getting a whole other season makes me quiver with excitement... I fully expect that S3 is going to be AMAZING. :D And even if we are still in the Timeslot of Doom, I guess it's nice to know that the network has faith in us or something? Who even knows these days. *eyeroll*

I do wish that Jensen at least had made it to the upfronts, but I don't blame him at ALL for not wanting to go alone or whatever. (Plus, I'm already writing fic in which he ditches it to go be with Jared, SO, you know. Boyfriend vs. Kristin and Pussycat Dolls? Not even a question, dude.)
